LIVAMED 1 (Pitavastatin Calcium) belongs to the group of statins and is used to correct levels of fatty substances (lipids) in the blood.
Pitavastatin is indicated for lowering elevated levels of total cholesterol (TC) and LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with primary hypercholesterolemia, including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed (combined) dyslipidemia.

You can take it at any time of day. However, try to take the tablet at the same time every day, preferably in the evening.
At first, the normal dosage is 1 mg once a day. After a few weeks, you may decide to increase the dosage. But the maximum dose for adults is 4 mg a day.
If you have liver problems, you should not take more than 2 mg a day.
